Job summary

Co-op Digital in Scunthorpe is seeking a Lead Product Manager for Wholesale CRM to shape vision and roadmaps, leading product development from discovery to delivery. You’ll collaborate with technology, design, and business teams to create customer‑focused CRM capabilities for independent retailers and wholesale customers.

You’ll influence strategic direction, manage stakeholders and empower cross‑functional teams while working in a hybrid model with some home and in‑office days at Scunthorpe.

  • Significant product management experience with defining product strategies and leading complex products.

Lead Product Manager – Wholesale CRM
£63,000 - £73,000 plus private healthcare, pension with up to 10% employer contributions and many more great benefits (Work Level 5)
Scunthorpe DN15 9YA - in this role you’ll work in a hybrid way splitting your time between home and coming into our Scunthorpe office a couple of days per week (find out more about our hybrid working policy at https://jobs.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).

We're looking for Lead Product Managers to join our Product team and help us shape the tools, platforms and capabilities that support Co‑op Wholesale in building stronger relationships with independent retailers and wholesale customers. You’ll set the vision, strategy and direction, leading product development from discovery through to delivery and working closely with colleagues across technology, design, delivery and the wider business to create solutions that meet customer needs and deliver value for Co‑op.

What you’ll do
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of CRM products and capabilities, creating personalised experiences for independent retailers and wholesale customers that improve engagement, loyalty and long-term value
  • Define and communicate a clear vision, strategy and roadmap for our Wholesale business digital CRM products
  • Work closely with stakeholders to balance customer needs, business priorities and technical considerations when making product decisions
  • Lead the product lifecycle from discovery through to delivery, ensuring your product delivers meaningful outcomes
  • Use customer insight, feedback and data to identify opportunities and prioritise product improvements
  • Manage and maintain a well‑prioritised product backlog, helping teams focus on the highest‑value work
  • Measure product performance and use evidence and insights to inform future decisions and investments
  • Build strong relationships across product, engineering, design and business teams to drive collaboration and alignment
What you’ll bring

  • The ability to translate business goals into clear product outcomes, roadmaps and measurable objectives
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to different audiences
  • An understanding of agile ways of working and experience working in cross‑functional product teams
