What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for leading a team of product professionals covering mortgage partnerships, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and customer focus, while driving positive commercial, operational and customer outcomes through our external partnerships. You'll lead the teams responsible for managing external mortgage partnerships, ensuring suppliers perform in line with contractual commitments, Nationwide's Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Framework and expected customer outcomes. As a people leader, you'll be accountable for team priorities, workload management and resource allocation, ensuring the successful delivery of strategic, operational and regulatory objectives.

A key part of the role will involve overseeing supplier governance and relationship management. You'll ensure multiple suppliers are managed in accordance with Nationwide's SRM Framework and that contractual obligations are understood, monitored and fulfilled by all parties. Working closely with Procurement, Legal, Risk and Compliance teams, you'll support tender exercises and commercial negotiations, including the development of new contracts, amendments and extensions. You'll also ensure appropriate controls are in place to identify, manage and mitigate contractual, operational and conduct risks, proactively driving issues and opportunities through to resolution.

You'll provide clear governance, insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, presenting supplier performance, risks, opportunities and strategic initiatives both internally and externally. Working closely with the wider Intermediaries & Partnerships team, you'll ensure supplier relationships, propositions and strategic initiatives remain aligned to business objectives, regulatory requirements and member outcomes.
