Job summary

Co-op in Manchester city centre is seeking a Lead Product Manager to shape vision, strategy and delivery across key products. You’ll lead product from discovery to delivery, balancing customer outcomes, commercial priorities and technical considerations, working with technology, design and delivery teams.

You’ll be responsible for defining a clear roadmap, prioritising the backlog and measuring outcomes, with a hybrid working model typically two days per month in office and remaining remote.

Qualifications

  • Significant product management experience defining product strategies and leading complex products or initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across teams and seniority levels.
  • Experience using customer insights, research and data to inform decisions and prioritise work.
  • The ability to translate business goals into clear product outcomes, roadmaps and measurable objectives.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to different audiences.
  • An understanding of agile ways of working and experience with cross‑functional product teams.

We're looking for Lead Product Managers to join our Product team and help us create products and services that make a real difference for our customers, members and colleagues.

In this role, you'll set the vision, strategy and direction for your product, working closely with colleagues across technology, design, delivery and the wider business to create solutions that meet customer needs and deliver value for Co-op.

You’ll lead product development from discovery through to delivery, making informed decisions that balance customer outcomes, commercial priorities and technical considerations.
