Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd is seeking a Buying and Procurement Manager for our Waltham Abbey operation. You will lead a team of Buyers, oversee the procurement of roofing and cladding materials, and coordinate with project teams to ensure on-time, budget-conscious delivery of goods and services.

You will negotiate with suppliers, monitor costs, and ensure procurement processes comply with ISO standards while driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Experience leading procurement teams in construction or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Knowledge of ISO quality standards and document control.
• Ability to manage budgets and procurement schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Buyers to manage procurement of roofing and cladding materials, plants, and services.
• Negotiate favorable terms and prices to achieve best value for the business.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Design Team and suppliers to align procurement activities.
• Maintain and monitor procurement records, supplier performance, and cost controls.
• Ensure timely delivery and resolution of any supply issues; track POs and receipts.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal procurement procedures.
