Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Bristol is seeking a Process Safety Engineer to design, execute and drive process safety implementations across operations. You will champion a proactive safety culture, lead PHAs, HAZOPs and risk assessments, and ensure compliance with IEC 61508/61511 and SEVESO requirements.

The role requires deep process safety expertise, strong communication, and collaborative engagement with engineering, operations and maintenance teams to deliver continuous safety improvements at site

Qualifications

Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or Process Safety, or equivalent experience.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Deep knowledge of SEVESO III and regulatory requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication across site levels.

Responsibilities

Lead design, execution and implementation of process safety requirements for operations.
Drive proactive PSM culture and compliance with regulations.
Support PHAs, HAZID/HAZOP, LOPA, SIL and other safety modeling activities.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective action plans.
Coordinate with engineering, operations and maintenance for safety improvements.
