Job summary

Carrington West are pleased to be supporting a growing engineering organisation to appoint a Principal Town Planner for a brand-new Leeds office. Based in Leeds, this role offers the chance to shape and grow the new operation and establish the planning capability.

You'll lead private-sector planning projects, manage client relationships and work with consultants and other stakeholders to drive growth and success for the new Leeds office.

Qualifications

• Experience operating at Principal Town Planner level or above.
• Strong background in private-sector planning, ideally within a consultancy or multidisciplinary engineering environment.
• MUST have a town planning degree or masters
• MRPTI or working towards
• A sound understanding of the UK planning system and development process.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of projects and contribute to the growth of the Leeds office.
• Develop and manage relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for business growth and drive successful project outcomes.
