GSL Education is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or experienced Cover Supervisor to support delivery of lessons in a primary school in Harlow, 2–3 days per week. You will lead activities across EYFS to KS2, manage behaviour and adapt tasks to meet diverse learning needs.

The ideal candidate has HLTA experience or strong TA/cover supervision background, with confidence to lead lessons and work across multiple year groups. A proactive, safeguarding‑minded approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a primary school setting, ideally as HLTA, Cover Supervisor, or teaching assistant.
• Confident in leading lessons and managing a classroom independently.
• Experience across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Deliver lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 following school plans and guidance.
• Lead whole‑class learning and keep pupils engaged and on task.
• Adapt activities to suit varying ages and abilities.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Support pupils with learning and respond to questions/difficulties during lessons.
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure continuity of learning.
• Follow school policies and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom.
