Job summary

North Lanarkshire Council's Early Learning & Childcare service is recruiting an Early Learning & Childcare Lead Practitioner for 35 hours per week on a term-time basis at Balmalloch Primary School & Nursery Class, Kingsway, Kilsyth G65 9UJ.

You will lead, support and nurture children through engaging learning experiences, plan and coordinate learning programmes, and communicate effectively with children, families and partner professionals.

Qualifications

• Experience working within an Early Learning & Childcare environment.
• Commitment to continuous professional learning and development.
• PVG Scheme membership and Disclosure Scotland checks required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and nurture children through engaging and stimulating learning experiences.
• Plan, develop and coordinate learning programmes within the Early Learning & Childcare setting.
• Communicate confidently with children, parents, carers, colleagues and partner professionals.
