South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust in England seeks a Lead Practice Educator to mentor and clinically supervise staff on remedial training and action plans, delivering stable development within an operational roster.

The role works with Operations and Learning & Development to drive education streams, assess clinicians, support NQP and ECA progression, and uphold standards of practice in line with Trust guidelines.

Qualifications

• HCPC/NMC registration and two years frontline ambulance experience
• BSc degree or enrolled on top-up programme
• Teaching qualification (PGCert/PGCAP/AET) preferred
• Vocational assessor qualification (CAVA, IOSH)
• Clinical Supervision level 6
• RCUK ALS provider Course

Responsabilités

• Lead Practice Educator role on an operational rostered line to mentor and clinically supervise staff
• Develop and implement action plans in collaboration with Education Leads
• Work with Operations, L&D and Education teams to progress staff on NQP and ECA processes
• Assess clinicians’ ability to work safely within scope of practice and support staff returning after absence
• Uphold standards of practice and provide development opportunities through referrals and reviews
