Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is seeking an experienced Technical Platform Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership across software engineering and platform initiatives within the UK. You will design and deliver secure, scalable technology platforms, drive cloud adoption, DevSecOps practices, and engineering excellence while mentoring teams and collaborating with stakeholders.

The role requires strong leadership, deep cloud and IaC experience, and a proactive approach to delivering

Qualifications

5+ years in a technical leadership role within software engineering, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale technology platforms.
Strong experience with AWS, Azure or GCP, container technologies, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Ansible).
Solid understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and observability.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities

Lead design and delivery of secure, scalable technology platforms.
Drive platform engineering, cloud adoption, and infrastructure automation.
Champion DevSecOps, CI/CD, and secure-by-design principles.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and delivery plans.
Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders on strategic technology initiatives.
