Job summary

dunnhumby is seeking a Lead Engineer to join the Application Platform Team. You will guide teams delivering high-quality, production-ready solutions and work closely with platform, product, and data squads to scale systems.

You’ll lead by example, promote code quality and reliability, and support engineers at different levels while fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment. Agile practices and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with .NET, Python, React/JavaScript, and Terraform.
• Knowledge of Go/Rust and willingness to adopt newer development frameworks.
• Comfortable with cloud environments (Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps) and working alongside platform teams.
• Proven experience shipping production code in cloud environments, with strong CI/CD practices.
