Job summary

Ideagen is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to head a squad building cloud platforms, tooling and engineering foundations that enable AI-native software delivery. You’ll combine hands-on technical leadership with people management to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in platform engineering or DevOps.
• Strong Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD and observability expertise.
• Experience leading engineers in agile delivery teams.
• Ability to balance hands-on work with leadership.
• Understanding of automated testing and quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a platform engineering squad for cloud infra, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and quality practices.
• Be technical authority on architecture and automation standards.
• Support platform reliability, performance, and scalability initiatives.
• Manage delivery commitments, risks, and blockers for the squad.
• Coach engineers through regular feedback and development planning.
• Champion AI-assisted engineering and testing practices.
• Improve tooling, productivity, and developer experience.
• Contribute to cross-team platform capability improvements.
