OPmobility is seeking a Site Paint Process Engineer to lead the paint process development and industrialization for new products. You will act as the main contact for paint-related changes in running production, ensuring stable quality, performance and cost efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years in automotive painting or process engineering, with experience in project environments and knowledge of lean practices.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Process Engineering or equivalent field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in painting, chemistry, or process engineering in automotive.
• Proven project experience and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of industrial painting processes (wet paint, powder coating, pretreatment).
• Experience with OEM requirements and quality standards.

Aufgaben

• Lead paint process development to meet OEM quality requirements.
• Optimize paint consumption to hit cost targets and improve productivity.
• Lead a team of process engineers and robot programmers in the paint line.
• Ensure process stability and product/process quality.
• Support industrialization up to serial production readiness (APQP).
• Oversee equipment/tooling conformity and painting standards.
