Job summary

OPmobility SE is seeking a maintenance engineer to uphold the paint line and auxiliary systems, ensuring functional and safe operation. The role involves preventive maintenance, supervising external contractors, and contributing to long-term improvements to reduce downtime.

Ideal candidates have an HNC in Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Engineering and experience in manufacturing, with knowledge of paint processes and robust problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• HNC in Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Engineering (or equivalent).
• Technician certification with a specialty in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics (or equivalent).
• Experience supervising suppliers/contractors.
• Experience working within Manufacturing (essential).
• Paint process knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out preventive maintenance of machinery, systems and utility services.
• Maintain highly sensitive equipment (e.g., paint atomizer).
• Lead and participate in 8Ds relating to customer issues and safety.
• Contribute to and deliver long-term solutions to reduce downtime.
• Supervise external companies doing contract maintenance and repair.
• Keep maintenance documentation and stocks of spare parts.
• Support level 1 maintenance training.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the work area.
