Job summary

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Highly Specialist Paediatric Community Physiotherapist (Band 7) for Brent. This one-year fixed-term post offers 22.5 hours per week, with a pro rata salary of £55,524–£62,652 per year.

Qualifications

• Specialist knowledge and experience in paediatric physiotherapy, including children with additional needs.
• Experience delivering physiotherapy in community settings (clinic, home, schools).
• Postgraduate paediatric experience and ability to lead pathways and service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist assessment, treatment and management for children and young people aged 0–19 with complex physical needs.
• Manage a community caseload across homes, nurseries, mainstream schools and community clinics.
• Assess and recommend specialist equipment and mobility aids to support children’s changing needs.
• Work collaboratively with Health, Education and Social Care to deliver coordinated care and support transitions into adulthood.
• Provide clinical leadership, supporting pathway development and service improvements across Brent.
• Line manage, supervise and develop junior staff and students.
• Contribute to clinical audit and service transformation to improve outcomes.
