Job summary

Beatson Cancer Charity is seeking an experienced Outreach Services Manager to lead multidisciplinary cancer support services across the West of Scotland, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support for patients and families. The role combines operational leadership, team development, service performance, stakeholder partnership, compliance and budget oversight.

The successful candidate should bring substantial health or social care experience and a compassionate commitment to supporting people

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent professional qualification in health or social care.
• At least five years’ practice experience.
• Minimum of three years’ experience managing teams within a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Specialist Health and Work Service (SHAWS), Group Support Programme, Counselling, Benefits Advice and Bereavement Services.
• Manage and support a multidisciplinary team, promoting collaboration and best practice.
• Recruit, develop and retain talented staff.
• Build strong relationships with NHS colleagues and key stakeholders.
• Oversee service performance, budgets, GDPR compliance and reporting.
• Promote services through communications, partnership working and events.
