Job summary

Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) is recruiting a Training Programme Director (0.25 PA) to oversee national postgraduate training programmes across Scotland. You will collaborate with trainees, trainers and external bodies to advance education and quality assurance within the Scotland Deanery.

The role requires MB ChB or equivalent with GMC registration, and a track record in NHS medical education. Flexible location within the UK is supported with remote and hybrid options.

Qualifications

• MB ChB or equivalent and included in the GMC General and Specialist Registers.
• Broad understanding of GMC and Scotland Deanery quality frameworks.
• Practical experience of medical education and training in the NHS.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of the Scotland Deanery national training programmes.
• Engage with trainees, trainers and external bodies to support postgraduate education regionally and nationally.
