Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Operational Research or equivalent in a numerate subject.
• Experience with OR techniques such as discrete event simulation, mathematical programming or forecasting.
• Experience in optimisation and analytics across networks, supply chain or resources.
• Experience modelling workforce planning and analytics.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with client projects and coaching junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery across the life-cycle of assignments – requirements definition, specification, data collection, solution design, development, testing, documentation, implementation and user training.
• Lead the team delivery of projects, managing and supervising the project team and supporting junior team members to develop their skills and technical expertise.
• Work directly with clients to design and build complex models/algorithms and employ insightful visualisation to translate the solution into easy-to-understand outputs.
• Identify opportunities for utilising AI to innovate and/or drive efficiency within projects.
• Manage clients’ expectations in relation to deliverables.
• Identify and manage risk on the assignment, involving Director / Partner appropriately in its resolution.
• Support senior team members in developing new business and offerings.
