Job summary

Scottish Power Renewables is seeking a Site Manager – Export Cable for their Leiston project on a contract basis. You will oversee onshore export cable installation, manage engineering activities, and ensure safety, quality and timely delivery.

The role requires strong renewables experience, ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and hands-on project control from design through handover.

Qualifications

• Experience installing onshore cable systems in renewables.
• Ability to work in a team with engineering controls.
• Knowledge of construction health and safety requirements.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications.
• Self-motivated with strong planning and organisation.
• English speaking.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering studies and manage consultants.
• Develop technical specifications and assess bids.
• Manage contractor engineering deliverables.
• Perform resident engineer duties at site/facility.
• Prepare project engineering plans and risk management.
• Coordinate ITT documentation and bid assessments.
• Monitor quality management and progress reporting.
• Interface with offshore works and handover to O&M.
