Job summary

Scottish Power Renewables is recruiting a Site Manager - Export Cables for Leiston on a contract basis. The role focuses on ensuring the design, manufacture, transport, installation and testing of the onshore export cable systems are planned and executed safely, on time and on budget.

You will lead engineering reviews, coordinate contractors, and provide resident engineer support at facilities and sites, with a strong background in renewables cable projects and HSE compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in onshore cable installations within renewables.
• Ability to manage design, procurement, and installation activities.
• Strong safety and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Onshore Export Cables package.
• Coordinate engineer deliverables and contractor submissions.
• Undertake resident engineer duties at manufacturing facilities or construction sites.
• Provide weekly progress reports highlighting risks/bottlenecks.
