Job summary

OFG Education is seeking a Lead Clinician – Occupational Therapist to lead our in-house clinical team across our education settings. You will deliver bespoke assessments and intervention plans for students with complex needs, collaborating with the school’s SLT and the Regional Clinical Lead to enhance outcomes.

You will oversee line management, drive service development, and maintain safeguarding while delivering person-centred therapy.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy
• A Registered Practitioner with the HCPC or other approved governing body
• Valid and up to date professional Registration & membership of professional body e.g. BPS
• Experience within the specialist client group; working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
• Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
• Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work dynamically and within a growing and developing clinical service
• Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty preferred
• Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the in-house clinical team
• Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex profiles (autism, neurodivergence, SEMH)
• Collaborate with SLT and Regional Clinical Lead to develop the service
• Coordinate line management and drive service development
• Maintain safeguarding and person-centred practices across settings
