Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking a confident Nursery Room Leader for a well-established, inclusive early years service in Guildford. This full-time position offers a 40-hour week and a salary up to £29,500, with a warm, welcoming setting where every child is celebrated and encouraged to thrive.

You will manage the day-to-day running of one nursery room, inspire and guide a small team, and ensure high standards of care and education.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
• Plan, deliver, and reflect on age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS.
• Promote positive relationships with children and families, providing updates and building trust.
• Support individual needs of each child, enabling their development.
• Model best practice and provide day-to-day guidance to team members.
• Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene procedures are followed.
