Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Room Leader to take ownership of a nursery room in Woking, delivering a high standard of early years practice.

You will plan a rich programme of creative play, focused learning, and group activities in line with EYFS, while mentoring room staff and building strong relationships with families.

All appointments require an enhanced DBS check and right-to-work verification.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a room in an early years setting (EYFS)
• Ability to mentor and support room-based staff
• Strong observation and documentation of children's progress

Responsibilities

• Leading the day-to-day running of your room, creating a stimulating and nurturing environment for children
• Planning and delivering a rich mix of creative play, focused learning, and group-led activities in line with EYFS
• Mentoring and supporting room-based staff, acting as a positive role model
• Observing and documenting children's progress, sharing updates with families
• Contributing to the wider nursery team and upholding Good Ofsted standards
