Job summary

• Level 3 childcare qualification recognised by the Department for Education.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding.
• Excellent spoken and written English; DBS cleared.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and act as key worker for a group of children; observe, record and assess progress with photos.
• Develop high quality interactions to extend thinking and learning.
• Plan, prepare and deliver play experiences supporting physical, intellectual and emotional development.
• Ensure activities draw from children's next steps, observations and interests within EYFS.
• Support each child’s self-esteem, confidence and sense of competence.
• Model friendly, caring behaviour and collaborate with colleagues for a positive nursery team.
• Maintain hygiene standards and engage in regular training to support development.
