Caring Kindergartens Daventry is seeking a motivated early years practitioner to join our team. You will lead a small group of children as a key worker, recording progress and planning play experiences in line with EYFS.

The role requires a Level 3 childcare qualification, strong English skills, safeguarding knowledge and a DBS check. You will contribute to a nurturing, reflective practice and a collaborative nursery environment in Daventry.

Qualificações

Level 3 childcare qualification recognised by the Department for Education.
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Knowledge of safeguarding practices.
Experience in an early years setting.
DBS clearance is required.

Responsabilidades

To lead a team and act as key worker for a group of children, observing, recording and assessing progress with photographic evidence.
To develop high quality interactions with children, extending thinking and learning.
To plan, prepare and deliver a wide range of play experiences promoting physical, intellectual and emotional development.
To ensure activities align with children's next steps, observations and interests within EYFS.
To support each child in developing self-esteem, confidence and competence.
To provide a positive model of behaviour with children, families and colleagues.
To maintain up-to-date knowledge of issues, legislation and practices through regular training.
To ensure hygiene standards meet Caring Kindergartens policies.
To work collaboratively with colleagues to foster a positive nursery team.
