Job summary

Willingcare is seeking a confident Nursery Manager to lead a purpose-built setting for babies, toddlers and pre-school children in the United Kingdom. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, staff management and ensure high standards of care and education in line with EYFS and Ofsted requirements.

This full-time position offers a salary up to £45,000, with on-site parking, subsidised meals and opportunities for training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
• Previous Nursery Manager experience or strong Deputy experience with readiness to step up.
• Excellent knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the setting.
• Lead, motivate and develop the nursery team.
• Maintain consistently high standards of care and education across all age groups.
• Ensure the EYFS is embedded effectively throughout the nursery.
• Oversee safeguarding, compliance, staffing, ratios, health and safety.
• Support practitioners to make full use of indoor and outdoor environments.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards across the setting.
• Build strong relationships with parents and families.
• Support staff development through coaching, supervision & training.
