Job summary

Willingcare is seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager for a newly refreshed nursery in the United Kingdom. The role pays £32,000 per year for a 40-hour week and involves supporting the Nursery Manager, leading the Early Years team and maintaining high standards across EYFS settings.

The successful candidate will hold Level 3 Early Years qualification or above, have senior EYFS experience, and a strong understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
• Experience in a senior Early Years role is essential.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
• Proven ability to lead, support and develop nursery staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager with day-to-day leadership of the setting.
• Provide a visible, supportive presence for practitioners.
• Help lead, motivate and develop the Early Years team.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality care and education in line with EYFS.
