Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking a Lead Nurse for Children & Young People with complex respiratory needs to lead the Surrey Children’s Community Nursing Service. You will provide expert clinical leadership, develop services, and support families across home, school and community settings.

The role requires extensive paediatric respiratory expertise, CPD commitment and the ability to drive service improvements and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Registered Children's Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Significant experience supporting children and young people with complex health needs.
• Highly specialist knowledge of paediatric respiratory care, including long-term ventilation and tracheostomy care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for children and young people with complex respiratory needs.
• Lead and supervise a team of nurses; workforce planning and performance management.
• Coordinate care pathways across health, education and social care partners.
• Deliver training, education and competency assessments for staff.
