Job summary

Assystem UK Ltd seeks a Senior Layout Integration Engineer to lead the development of integrated plant layouts for Fusion and Modular Nuclear programmes. You will act as the technical focal point for major work packages, drive multidisciplinary coordination and ensure design maturity through studies and reviews.

The role requires delivery-focused leadership, strong communication with stakeholders and hands-on experience with CAD/BIM tools to support modularisation and construction studies.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience in plant layout, piping layout and multidisciplinary delivery.
Experience leading plant area development and coordination.
Experience facilitating design reviews and workshops.

Responsibilities

Lead plant layout development from concept through detailed design.
Coordinate interfaces between systems, buildings and supporting infrastructure.
Lead layout reviews, multidisciplinary workshops and clash detection.
Author technical reports and design philosophies and defend recommendations.
