Lead Network Engineer to play a key role in designing, building, and optimising their carrier-grade network infrastructure.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior, hands-on role where you'll influence architecture, lead technical strategy, and ensure high performance and reliability across a dynamic and complex environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement high-performance network solutions (HLD and LLD).
- Lead operational support and change management across core, distribution, and access networks.
- Oversee troubleshooting, fault analysis, and performance monitoring.
- Guide and mentor a team of engineers, managing priorities and project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with NOC, architecture, and security teams.
- Represent the organisation in vendor and industry discussions.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve reliability and scalability.
- Ensure high standards of network security and compliance.
Tech Stack / Tools- Routing & Protocols: IPv4, IPv6, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, Segment Routing, LDP
- Access & Services: BNG (IPoE, PPPoE), DHCP, RADIUS, Zero Touch Provisioning, PON
- Security & Resilience: CGNat, uRPF/BCP38, N+1 HA design
- Tooling & Automation: Python, Perl, Go, Linux-based systems, monitoring/diagnostic tools
What We're Looking For- Strong background in network engineering within an ISP, carrier, or large-scale NOC environment
- In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, and scalable network design
- Experience leading technical teams and projects
- Skilled in scripting and automation
- Excellent fault diagnosis and performance tuning skills
- Desirable: Industry certifications (e.g. CCNP) or equivalent experience
