About

A detail-oriented UK based, hands-on Network Practice Lead with significant experience working for a value-added reseller or managed service provider, is required to join a leading IT solutions and services provider during a period of growth and success.

Role Details

The contract is home-based with mileage claims for travel to offices or client sites. Candidates must be UK-based and able to travel to Wokingham or Leeds as required.

Recent and substantial experience working for a small-mid size VAR or MSP is essential.

The Role

As a hands-on Network Practice Lead, you will help build resilient, scalable, and modern product offerings and GTM strategies, engaging with key clients and developing cutting-edge WAN and LAN technologies. You will shape new service propositions and be client-facing with strong technical and business acumen.

Required Experience

• Deep knowledge of major networking vendors (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, HPE Aruba, NVIDIA)
• Experience working for a small-mid size VAR or MSP
• Knowledge of NFVs and NVAs, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Python)
• Experience managing large-scale network projects and teams
• Strong security and connectivity knowledge, especially hybrid cloud
• Proven track record in delivering change initiatives and strategic planning
