Overview

We're working with a fast-growing technology provider seeking a Lead Network Engineer to design, build, and optimize carrier-grade network infrastructure.

This senior, hands-on role offers the opportunity to influence architecture, lead technical strategy, and ensure high performance and reliability in a complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and implement high-performance network solutions (HLD and LLD).
2. Lead operational support and change management across core, distribution, and access networks.
3. Oversee troubleshooting, fault analysis, and performance monitoring.
4. Guide and mentor engineering teams, managing priorities and project delivery.
5. Collaborate with NOC, architecture, and security teams.
6. Represent the organization in vendor and industry discussions.
7. Evaluate and integrate new technologies for reliability and scalability.
8. Ensure network security and compliance standards.
9. Access & Services: BNG (IPoE, PPPoE), DHCP, RADIUS, Zero Touch Provisioning, PON
10. Security & Resilience: CGNat, uRPF/BCP38, N+1 HA design
11. Tooling & Automation: Python, Perl, Go, Linux systems, monitoring/diagnostic tools

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in network engineering within an ISP, carrier, or large NOC environment
• Knowledge of routing, switching, and scalable network design
• Leadership in technical teams and projects
• Scripting and automation skills
• Fault diagnosis and performance tuning expertise
• Desirable: Industry certifications like CCNP or equivalent experience
