Job summary

Project People seeks a Mobile Telecoms Solutions Architect in the UK to convert operator requirements into practical, commercially viable infrastructure solutions. You will work with mobile network operators to shape solutions across macro sites, rooftops and small cells, balancing technical and commercial needs.

You will be at the junction of technology, engineering, customers and commercial teams, delivering costed, deliverable designs and robust proposals for ongoing network modernisation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in mobile telecommunications infrastructure, tower companies or network rollout.
• Good understanding of 4G and 5G deployments and related radio requirements.
• Ability to translate operator requirements into costed, workable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Engage with mobile network operators to understand coverage and capacity needs.
• Lead technical discovery for new-build, co-location, upgrade and modernisation projects.
• Design solutions across macro sites, rooftops, monopoles, street works and small cells.
• Assess feasibility including planning, power, access and site constraints.
• Interpret radio-planning information and antenna configurations.
• Develop multi-operator and co-location solution approaches.
• Produce technical responses to RFIs, tenders, and framework competitions.
• Collaborate with commercial to develop pricing, business cases and proposals.
