Job summary

Fuel Recruitment is seeking a Network Design Engineer / RF Planner to join our telecoms team in London. Hybrid role with 1 day in the office.

The role focuses on LTE and 5G radio planning, with day-to-day planning, network optimisation and capacity improvements in mobile networks.

We value a degree in Telecommunications or related field and 3–4 years’ experience, plus proficiency with Atoll, Planet, Asset and strong KPI analysis. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Telecommunications or related discipline.
• 3–4 years LTE/5G radio planning experience.
• Familiar with RF design, coverage and capacity planning.
• Experience in mobile network environments and KPI analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day LTE/5G radio planning and network design.
• Support coverage, capacity and optimisation projects.
• Analyse KPI data to identify improvements.
• Contribute to network design and optimisation initiatives.
• Produce planning documentation and design records.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers.
• Assist in network acceptance and validation activities.
• Support future LTE/5G enhancement programmes.
