Job summary

William Law CE Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher for term-time hours: 11.30am–2.00pm, 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role emphasizes wellbeing, live marking, and collaborative planning within a 3-form entry primary setting.

Ideal candidates are energetic, have high expectations for pupils, and work well in a team to support continuous professional development and school improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons and provide timely in-the-m moment feedback (live marking).

• Support across 3 classes per year group as part of a collaborative teaching team.

Job description

Term time only (plus one inset day in September) Monday to Friday, 11.30am - 2.00pm (12.5 hrs per week).

As a school we are mindful of wellbeing and have introduced the following to support worklife balance of staff.

• Staff meetings are only 1 hour and other CPD is creatively planned into the school working-day through Team Meetings and a supportive coaching model

• An SLT which is supportive and are streamlining systems and processes to reduce unnecessary paperwork and workload.
