GM Performance Power Units is seeking a 2nd Shift Quality Technician to lead advanced dimensional inspection using tactile CMMs and optical systems. You will develop and optimize inspection programs, work from CAD models, and mentor junior technicians in a fast-paced motorsport environment.

The role requires strong GD&T knowledge and hands-on experience with metrology equipment, with a focus on accuracy, repeatability, and continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• Hands-on metrology experience with tactile CMMs or optical systems.
• Excellent GD&T knowledge for aerospace/automotive drawings.
• Strong problem-solving ability and independence.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute complex inspections using CMMs, structured light scanners, and laser systems.
• Develop and validate CMM/optical inspection programs from CAD/drawings.
• Interpret GD&T requirements and advise on measurement feasibility.
