Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Senior MES Software Engineer to join the MES Delivery team in Europe. The role focuses on MES design, development, and deployment using AVEVA products, with strong SQL, C#, and Web API skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable MES solutions that align with customer requirements.

The position is fully client-facing, involves system design and site commissioning, and requires travel up to 25% to customer sites. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in C#, .NET and Web API development.
• Experience implementing and commissioning MES systems in a manufacturing setting.
• Fluent in English and able to work face-to-face with customers in Europe.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements gathering, system design, and code reviews.
• Ensure best practices in coding, security, and performance of MES solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain MES solutions built with AVEVA products.
• Integrate MES with external systems (SAP, PLCs, SCADA) as part of architecture.
• Author system acceptance test criteria based on formal requirements and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Site commissioning of MES solutions and travel to customer sites as needed (up to 25%).
• Maintain detailed technical documentation and perform unit/system tests.
