Job summary

AVEVA, a global industrial software leader, seeks a Senior MES Software Engineer in an India-based capacity. You will design, develop, and maintain MES solutions leveraging C#/.NET, Web APIs, and MS SQL Server to support manufacturing processes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, integrate with SAP/PLC/SCADA, and drive best practices in security, performance, and documentation. Hybrid role with onsite/offsite flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in C#, .NET, Web API development & MES.
• Proficient with MS SQL Server and T-SQL performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Framework/Core, and Web APIs.
• Create and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.
• Implement responsive front-end components using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Integrate with external systems (e.g., SAP, PLCs, SCADA) as part of MES architecture.
• Participate in requirements gathering, system design, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in manufacturing environments.
• Collaborate with process engineers and production teams to understand MES requirements.
• Ensure best practices in coding, security, and system performance.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation.
