Job summary

You will produce detailed drawings, perform quick stress calculations and ensure bolt‑on assemblies integrate with the main machine in a hands‑on contract setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mechanical design and detailing.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanics and stress analysis.
• Ability to produce accurate, manufacturable drawings.

Responsibilities

• Progress mechanical sub‑assemblies through to completion.
• Produce detailed mechanical drawings and documentation.
• Standardise bolt‑on assemblies for correct fit.
• Carry out hand calculations and basic stress assessments.
• Attend design reviews and work with the engineering team.
• Ensure designs are manufacturable and robust.
