Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals invites an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor to join the Grid & Digital Solutions Department for the EGL1 Project, based in Murton. You will oversee daily mechanical construction activities, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure safe, high‑quality execution on site.

The role requires a technical diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, 5+ years in mechanical construction, and strong leadership and English communication.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of mechanical construction project experience.
• Experience supervising installation works, subcontractors and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day mechanical construction activities on site.
• Lead mechanical subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe, efficient execution.
• Monitor installation of mechanical equipment, piping systems, and steel structures.
• Ensure works meet project specifications, drawings, procedures and standards.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain site records.
• Promote health, safety and environmental performance on site.
