Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals is seeking a Civil Site Engineer for the EGL1 Project in Murton. You will supervise subcontractors, ensure timely delivery within budget, review plans, enforce safety, and report progress to Project Managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 1–2 years of construction experience.
• Experience supervising subcontractors.
• On-site work capability.
• Energy or industrial project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily subcontractor activities.
• Ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.
• Review construction plans and drawings for accuracy.
• Enforce site safety regulations and procedures.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks.
• Report progress and issues to Project Managers.
• Support development of civil construction work packages.
• Attend site constructability reviews.
• Provide engineering deliverable reviews as required.
• Support scheduling to develop Primavera project schedule.
• Track and expedite design work from external partners.
• Coordinate handling of construction defects during handover.
• Respond to technical queries raised by civil contractors.
