Job summary

Equans Data Centers is seeking a Site Supervisor – Mechanical for a High Wycombe project. You will manage mechanical works on site, lead installation engineers and subcontractors, ensure compliance with specs, safety standards and timelines.

You will coordinate mechanical teams, monitor progress against plans, and drive resource efficiency while maintaining quality and site documentation. A strong background in mechanical engineering and site supervision is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with a main contractor or large subcontractor.
• Experience from a mechanical engineering background.
• Site supervisor experience.
• Be self-motivated with proven organisational ability and the drive to meet deadlines.
• Customer focused with the ability to communicate effectively with contractors and clients.
• Attention to Health and Safety matters.
• Commercially astute.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical and commissioning activities on site.
• Coordinate and lead mechanical teams and subcontractors to meet project goals.
• Monitor quality and progress of works against project plans and drawings.
• Manage resources, materials and site logistics to maximise efficiency.
• Manage labour and resource on site.
• Liaise with project managers and engineers to communicate status and issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
• Maintain accurate site documentation including reports, permits and inspections.
• Managing the day to day activities on site and ensuring the programme of works is defined between all contractors for upcoming activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in site execution, labour utilisation and resource management.
