Job summary

Equans Data Centers in the UK is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Mechanical to lead the mechanical package on large data centre projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance.

You will manage a team, coordinate on-site construction, drive planning, report progress, and collaborate with clients and design teams. Experience with main contractors and a Mechanical degree are preferred; a strong focus on health and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with a main contractor or large subcontractor.
• Proven people management experience.
• Proven technical knowledge of Mechanical Services.
• Be self-motivated with proven organisational ability and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team to ensure work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety standards.
• Provide guidance and direction to ensure operational excellence.
• Coordinate on-site construction processes to progress in line with plan.
• Develop and agree electrical submission and approval process with client and design team.
• Support overall programming and planning of the build.
• Attend site meetings and provide information for progress reports.
• Record and report key metrics to team members and management.
• Review procedures, best practices and initiatives for operational improvement.
