TipTopJob is recruiting a Lead / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer near Leicester to design, detail and deliver bespoke automation machinery on time and within budget.

You will manage multiple projects from order acceptance to handover, perform mechanical design using 3D CAD, conduct design reviews, produce BOMs, and collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-efficient solutions.

Formación

• Strong experience in mechanical design for bespoke automation machinery.
• Proficient in 3D CAD and detailing.
• Experience managing multiple projects to budget and schedule.

Responsabilidades

• Design and detail multiple SP machines from order to handover.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Produce BOMs and ensure design passes are completed on time.
• Lead design reviews and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
• Support electrical design processes and communicate build details to shop floor.
