Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is searching for an experienced Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer to lead HVAC projects in Manchester. The role involves concept through construction support, owning mechanical work packages and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams on complex power and energy infrastructure projects.

You will prepare calculations, equipment selections and design documentation, while ensuring compliance with UK Regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical/building services engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical building services and HVAC design.
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and CDM is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of mechanical building services and HVAC systems from concept to construction support.
• Own mechanical work packages, ensure quality, programme compliance and delivery.
• Prepare calculations, specifications, schedules and technical reports.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients; support BIM processes.
