Job summary

Ardfin Estate Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanic to maintain our premium turf machinery and estate equipment. The role will manage the workshop and maintenance facility, ensuring safety, reliability and the highest standards of service.

The successful candidate will work on a full-time basis at The Long Road, Ardfin Estate, Isle of Jura. A fully equipped workshop and good work-life balance are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining turf machinery and sound motor industry knowledge.
• Competent in managing service records, stock control and budget information.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills, including diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance.
• An appreciation of very high standards.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of the workshop, machinery and maintenance facility.
• Ensure equipment is safe, reliable and maintained to the highest standards.
• Oversee workshop staff and maintenance scheduling.
