Job summary

The Belfry is seeking a Mechanic to join our Greenkeeping team, maintaining the resort's machinery fleet across our award-winning estate. Reporting to the Head Mechanic, you’ll perform diagnostics, repairs, welding and fabrications, with occasional evenings or weekend work.

You should have basic training or experience in mechanics, plus an interest in golf and teamwork. The role offers a supportive environment, training opportunities, and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic training or experience in mechanics is required.
• Interest in golf is preferred.
• Ability to work evenings or weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostics and repairs of equipment.
• Communicate repairs, stock requests and servicing with Head Mechanic.
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
• Repair and service engines (two-stroke and four-stroke).
• Repair tyres and other parts as required.
