Job summary

The Belfry is seeking a capable Mechanic to maintain our machinery fleet across the estate. Under the Head Mechanic, you will diagnose, repair and service equipment, welding and fabricating as required, and handle engine work including two-stroke and four-stroke engines.

Flexibility is valued as some evenings and weekends may be required; join a team dedicated to keeping our world-class golf courses and facilities in peak condition.

Qualifications

• Basic training or experience is required for this role.
• Interest in mechanics and golf helps performance.
• Previous greenkeeper experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostics and repairs of failing equipment.
• Communicate with Head Mechanic about repairs, stock requests and servicing.
• Undertake welding and fabrication as required.
• Repair two-stroke and four-stroke engines.
• Repair and replace tyres and other parts.
