Job summary

Oyster Yachts Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to drive the electrical system design across the Oyster yacht range, producing accurate 2D CAD drawings and cable schedules for production.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering and Procurement, lead DCRs and contribute to R&D and value engineering initiatives to improve quality and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of marine AC/DC electrical systems and materials.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical design standards across the Oyster range.
• Produce 2D electrical schematic and panel drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop contract-specific 2D CAD electrical information for Production.
• Produce accurate cable running schedules for manufacturing and installation.
• Lead the Electrical Design Change Request process across the Oyster range.
• Ensure design information is delivered accurately and to deadlines.
