Job summary

Omega is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Composites) to join its aerospace team in the UK. The role focuses on developing composite components, supporting design for manufacture and driving process improvements in quality and efficiency. You will work with CAD tools and lean practices to optimize production.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with carbon fiber composites, manufacturing technologies, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within an aerospace context.

Qualifications

• Experience in composite manufacture and processing.
• Strong understanding of composite materials, especially carbon fiber.
• Knowledge of aerospace quality control processes.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Support product design for manufacture as required.
• Create Routings and BoM’s.
• Develop Process Sheets for Standard Procedures.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures with an inspection plan.
